Find good sleep naturally with our collection of 100% pure organic essential oils especially suitable for better sleep.

Lavender

Undoubtedly the most popular essential oil for calm and sleep. Lavender has an absolutely proven sedative effect, which calms the nervous system, lowers heart rate, reduces anxious thoughts, relaxes muscles and improves sleep quality. Studies also show that lavender aromatherapy alters brain waves to those associated with calm and deep sleep.

Bergamot

Unlike other citrus essential oils, which are stimulating, bergamot also has a calming effect. With its wonderful positive aroma and sleep-promoting properties, reducing stress, anxiety and heart rate, bergamot essential oil may be just what you need. In a study on calm and sleep of a mixture containing bergamot oil, 92% of participants found a benefit and said they would continue to use it. Bergamot oil also has antispasmodic properties that help with muscle cramps and asthma.

Frankincense

Used for 5,000 years and considered sacred due to its exceptional beneficial properties. The soothing and anti-inflammatory effect of incense oil has been proven by history and modern science. A number of studies over the past few years have confirmed that it helps for good sleep by relieving stress, relieving tension and eliminating inflammation. It is no coincidence that it is called the king of essential oils and you can be sure that you will not go wrong with it.

Ylang-Ylang

Especially fragrant floral essential oil of ylang-ylang is known for its calming effects, as it is able to relax the body and nervous system to help you fall asleep faster. Ylang-Ylang is also a strong aphrodisiac with libido-boosting properties. It also has strong anti-inflammatory and topical analgesic properties, but should not be used on sensitive parts of the body.

Our favorite ways to use essential oils for better sleep:

  • Add 7-10 drops of essential oil to 1 cup of water and spray your bed with a spray

  • Diffuse one or a combination of the above oils in an aromatherapy diffuser 30 minutes before bedtime

  • Drop a few drops in boiling water and take a deep breath on a steam bath before bed

  • Drop a few drops in the relaxing bath before bed

  • Dilute a few drops of essential oil with a base oil of your choice and rub your neck, shoulders and feet before bed. Incense and lavender oils in diluted form are also suitable for soothing massage of inflamed parts of the body, such as lymph nodes, muscles and joints.
