Cleaning

Did you know that store bought detergents are among the most toxic substances in your home? Their use leads to constant air pollution and many scientific studies have linked exposure to these heavy chemicals with a number of chronic diseases,

such as asthma, autism, cancer, sinusitis and others.

The good thing is that there are natural alternatives for cleaning, which are not inferior to the coupes, on the contrary. They are efficient, safe, provide better air quality and a healthier atmosphere in your home, without chemical odors,

harmful volatile substances and health risks.

Lemon

With a fresh, clean aroma and natural antibacterial and disinfectant properties, lemon essential oil is extremely effective for home cleaning. It can be used for degreasing, removing stains, removing odors and refreshing.

  • For oily stains: drip a few drops on the stain and rub with a sponge. For clothes, use a few drops on the stain, rub and blot with a piece of paper and throw in the washing machine as soon as possible.

  • Dilute it in water and use it to clean the refrigerator, greasy cooking appliances, as well as detergent for cleaning floors and windows.

  • For natural wood and leather varnish, combine with a larger amount of olive oil.

Tea Tree

A wonderful eco alternative to aggressive chemical cleaning ingredients. With strong antibacterial, antifungal and insecticidal properties, tea tree is an extremely effective universal cleanser. It is suitable for disinfection, removal of odors, mold and elimination of insects (and lice).

  • For a universal cleanser, combine 10 drops of tea tree with 1-2 cups of water and 1 cup of white vinegar in a spray or spray

  • Diffuse with an aromatherapy diffuser to freshen the air in your home

  • To remove mold, combine 5 drops of tea tree with 1 cup of white vinegar and spray liberally.

  • To eliminate insects, combine 15-20 drops of tea tree with water or white vinegar and spray liberally.

  • For lice, combine 3-4 drops with 1 cup of water and the affected areas every day

  • Spray your bin to remove and prevent unwanted odors

Do not expose your tea tree cleaning mixtures to the sun or high temperatures, as the essential oil will degrade.

Mint

With a refreshing and invigorating aroma, antibacterial, antifungal and insecticidal properties, peppermint essential oil is an excellent choice for a natural cleanser. It is suitable for cleaning surfaces, bathrooms and toilets and eliminating insects.

  • To clean surfaces, combine 10-15 drops of mint with 1-2 cups of water and 1 cup of white vinegar

  • Diffuse with an aromatherapy diffuser to freshen the air at home and repel mosquitoes and other insects

  • To clean bathrooms and toilets, combine a few drops of mint with soda and water or white vinegar

  • To remove insects, spray the affected areas with a combination of 10-15 drops of mint and water

Thyme

Known for its extremely strong antibacterial properties, thyme essential oil is especially suitable for disinfection in the kitchen. It is effective for eliminating bacteria from raw meat and food products, such as salmonella and Escherichia coli, as well as for removing insects and pests.

  • For a natural dishwashing cream, combine 4-5 drops of thyme to a cup of Castilian soap.

  • To clean surfaces, combine 10 drops of thyme with ¼ cup white vinegar and 1 cup water

  • To eliminate moths, mosquitoes, fleas and bedbugs, combine 5-10 drops of thyme with water and spray abundantly

Lavender

Lavender essential oil is especially suitable for flavoring, removing unwanted odors and repelling insects. It combines very well white vinegar with other essential oils with stronger disinfectant properties, such as tea tree and white pine. However, it also has its own antibacterial properties and when combined with vinegar is suitable for cleaning hard surfaces.

  • While cleaning surfaces combine 3-5 drops of lavender with white vinegar and water

  • To remove unwanted odors and flavor, combine 10 drops of lavender with water in a spray or spray.

  • To repel insects such as ants or cockroaches, soak a cotton swab with 5 drops of lavender and place it in the problem area.

Eucalyptus

With its pure mint scent, eucalyptus oil is a star in natural cleansing products. With naturally strong antibacterial properties, it is suitable for cleaning the bathroom, freshening the air, cleaning hard surfaces and eliminating dust mites. It is also an effective remedy against fleas for pets.

  • To clean the bathroom, combine 10 drops of eucalyptus with soda and white vinegar

  • For hard surfaces, combine 4-5 drops of eucalyptus with white vinegar and water

  • To freshen the air at home, diffuse into an aromatherapy diffuser

  • To repel pests, soak a cotton swab with 4-5 drops of eucalyptus and place it in the affected area

  • To control ants, cockroaches, moths and bedbugs, spray abundantly with eucalyptus dissolved in water
