Extracted from the peel of the citrus fruit, bergamot oil is known for its strong fresh and tart aroma. Popular in folk medicine around the world, it is used to relieve stress and body aches, fight inflammation, and aid digestion and energy flow in the body.

How to use:

Diffuse: Use 2-4 drops of bergamot in an aromatherapy diffuser of your choice
Topical: Dilute 1 drop in carrier oil of your choice and gently rub into desired area

Internally: Dilute 1 drop of bergamot in 200ml of liquid

Massage: Mix 5-10 drops with 50ml of base oil until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Cosmetics: Add essential oil not more than 0.3% to the finished product, stir with a plastic or wooden stirrer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

It is derived from the Citrus Bergamia plant, a rare orange that is too sour to eat but is cultivated for its qualities as an aromatic herb and essential oil. World famous as the ingredient that gives the characteristic taste of Earl Gray tea.

 

It is a popular component in a number of cosmetic products, perfumes. Bergamot essential oil is obtained by cold pressing, which is a guarantee of preserving all biologically active substances useful for health.

Tips for use:

  • Add one drop of bergamot to a cup of soothing tea of your choice.

  • Diffuse 3-4 drops of bergamot in an aromatherapy diffuser or alternatively place 3-4 drops on a cotton pad for direct inhalation.

  • Rub 2-3 drops of bergamot on your feet after a hard day.

  • Dilute 2-3 drops of bergamot in a carrier oil of your choice and gently rub the mixture onto your shoulders, neck and temples.

  • For headaches, dilute 1-2 drops of bergamot in a carrier oil of your choice and gently rub the mixture on the forehead and temples.

  • For skin problems, dilute 1-2 drops of bergamot in a carrier oil suitable for your problem and gently rub on the desired area. *Caution: wash well before going out in the sun

  • Add a drop of bergamot to your night skin cream.

  • Dilute 3-5 drops of bergamot along with a spoonful of salt in a glass of water for an anti-caries mouthwash.

  • Dilute 2-3 drops of bergamot in a spoonful of coconut oil for an oil pulling mixture against cavities.

  • Use 2-3 drops of bergamot instead of deodorant.

Mood, stress and depression

  • Before use, do a sensitivity test in the pit of the elbow flexion. If there is a rash or redness - do not use the product.
